The Vacheron Constantin Overseas 34.5mm gives you the full integrated-bracelet Overseas look in a much more compact package.
This version is done entirely in 18K rose gold with an olive green lacquered dial. The green has a rich sunburst finish that changes noticeably in the light, while the rose gold case, bezel, hands, markers, and bracelet give the watch a lot of warmth without overwhelming the dial.
At 34.5mm and just over 9mm thick, this is a genuinely slim and compact luxury sports watch. The smaller dimensions make it extremely comfortable, but the full gold construction still gives it plenty of presence on the wrist. The Maltese Cross-inspired bezel and integrated bracelet make it unmistakably an Overseas.
Inside is Vacheron Constantin’s automatic Calibre 1088/1, visible through the sapphire caseback. It offers a 40-hour power reserve and keeps the watch simple: hours, minutes, central seconds, and date at 3 o’clock.
One of the best parts of the Overseas platform is the interchangeable bracelet system. This example comes with the full rose-gold bracelet along with green leather and green rubber straps, so the same watch can go from full gold to much more casual in a matter of seconds.
From a value standpoint, this is a lot of watch. You’re getting a full precious-metal sports watch from Vacheron Constantin, an integrated gold bracelet, additional factory straps, a manufacture movement, and 150 meters of water resistance in one package.
This green-dial configuration is also considerably less common on the secondary market than the more familiar blue Overseas variants, especially in the 34.5mm rose-gold case.
