Where the dress Carreras are clean and restrained, this one feels like it belongs in a pit lane. The ceramic bezel gives it a sharp, almost architectural edge. It frames the dial in a way older smooth-bezel Carreras don’t. There’s gloss, depth, and contrast without it feeling flashy.
The dial is properly laid out with its tri-compax, applied markers, and clean date window. The red chronograph seconds hand and matching detail in the minute register add tension to an otherwise monochrome dial. It looks fast without screaming about it.
The Calibre 16 inside is the classic automatic chronograph layout most collectors know well. It gives the watch that slightly mechanical, purposeful feel when you run the chrono. You can feel it working. It suits the character of the watch.
At 44mm, this isn’t subtle. It has a presence. But on the factory rubber strap, it wears planted and comfortable rather than top-heavy. It feels like a true, modern performance chronograph.
Condition: This example will come in very good, used condition. Outside of minor handling marks, there are no imperfections of note. The watch is keeping excellent time according to the timegraph and does not require a service at this time.
