Breitling Old Navitimer 41.5 - A13022 Beautiful Patina
Up for sale is a Breitling Navitimer A13022, and this one stands out for one very cool reason: the dial and tritium patina.
This example has developed an unusually warm, even patina across the subdials and luminous plots. The sub-registers have taken on a soft copper/cream tone that contrasts beautifully with the black dial, giving the watch real depth and character. This isn’t artificial, relumed, or messed with—just honest aging that you don’t see very often, especially this consistently.
The A13022 represents the classic Navitimer era: stainless steel case, slide-rule bezel, and the traditional busy-but-legible layout that made the model iconic. The 41.5mm case wears comfortably and feels much closer to vintage proportions than modern Navitimers.
Inside is the Breitling Caliber 13 (Valjoux 7750 base), COSC-certified, reliable, and easy to service. This is a watch meant to be worn, not babied.
This is not a mint collector example—and that’s the point. If you’re looking for a Navitimer with personality, warmth, and real age to it, this one delivers in a way most don’t.
Condition: Aside from the obvious patina, this one is in excellent shape. Especially for a 30 year old watch. The watch has been serviced although there is no documentation. It is currently running exceptionally well according to the timegraph. It does not require a service at this time.
Contents: This will come as a set with inner/outer boxes and international warranty papers.
